Default What is Your favorite CF hood?

Ok, currently I have the Seibon TS-II hood on my car.
However I got into a little accident and it has a LITTLE (a crack about the size of a fricken quarter) damage on it.
I have the option of buying a new hood or painting the edge of this one.

I may just paint it first, and then if it doesn't look good, I'll buy a new hood. However I don't know if I want the TS-II again, or if I want something else. The TS-II rubs even with an aftermarket (lower) strut bar and it's being discontinued, so will be hard to find.

So post up your favorite CF hood (pics too if you got it). Don't worry about the price, just post up the CF hood you like the most.

Below are MY current thoughts.
(Seibon TS-II on the left, VIS Fuzion on the right).

I've also been looking at the Weber sports. It looks interesting because it has the vents in the front and then it is raised and vented. (Can be seen here: http://www.webersports.jp/weber_products_z2.htm

I simply LOVE the weber sport hood. I think it's hands down the hottest hood on the market for the Z.

Is this what you're talking about?

I still like the 3 I mentioned better, but thanks for bringing it up, I never saw it before..

My ONLY gripe with this one (besides the price...but that's not a factor) is that it looks like an aluminum shell with a CF overlay. The Seibon TS-II that I have is almost completely CF. It has about a 1/4 aluminum shell and then the rest of the hood is CF.

So the Weber sports hood would just be for ventilation + looks, but I don't think it would save weight.

the TS2 is already discontinued. Im going to be one of the few dealers to have them. I personally think the OEM hoods are the cleanest, but if you insist on vents I like the TS or VT.

I still see a lot of websites listing the TS-II. However, that doesn't mean they actually have them... However, I don't see it listed on your website. The VT is alright, but even though it has vents everywhere...it still kinda looks plain to me...I don't know why...it just does.

And yeah, and I insist on vents. I just like to see the heat distortion rise out of my hood at stoplights. haha. Actually, a vented hood is form and function, doesn't get much better than that...

I think the TS is my favorite. Some sites still have them listed but the TS2 has been removed from Seibon's website and price guide. It sounded like they were stopping the TS2 a couple weeks ago, but I got word today they are only keeping them available for a few vendors. I've got one coming in Wednesday

I'm thinking of buying the exact one, but I have reservation on when it rains. Is there anything stopping the rain coming into the engine bay on a hard rain day?
