They look aweful shaved. what color is your car? alot of people have painted handles but the color of the car plays a role in wheither or not they should be painted, some look good, some look better stock.

For anyone that wants to know what each one looks like, here are two cars.

Shaved Handles (and everything else):

Painted Handles:

The person with black Z has since sold it but the person with the blue Z (Chad, who took the picture) still has it. I'm pretty sure he just used stock paint, had a couple of coats put on and a clear coat on top of it. Color is dead on although in this picture it doesn't do it justice.

Thanks Roger, THat is my Blue Z. *sidenote*(I had an 03 red Z and traded it 2 years ago. Thats why my name is 03redlineZ.)

Anyway I brought them to a local body shop when i had my airwalker kit painted and had them do my Emblems and Door handles, The paint is amazing Dead on for color!!! They also guarantee their work for life of the car!!

I was going to shave them but i already have a hard enough time getting an inspection sticker up here anyway let alone having shaved handles.

I will have Roger (Anyone2U) post some more pics for me as it takes me forever to get them on here!!

Chad

I think having our handles the way they are is what makes the car unique. We dont even have normal door handles to begin with. lol

Actually the shaved one looks pretty cool, it looks pretty clean, maybe because the silver door handle looks a little goofy on a black car and stands out too much.

The shaved handles look the best, but painted handles look bad IMO.

I don't think it looks bad, but I would not do it.

To each has their own!!

My car personally looks a lot cleaner with the handles painted. I get a tremendous amount of compliments on them as they are painted now. It seems that everyone else besides Z owners thinks they are REALLY ugly and this tones them down a bit!

^ I have noticed all non-Z owners hate the handles as well!
