Default removing rear hamburger and replacing it with a Z

I removed the 350z easily with a blow dryer and dental floss..... how about the rear and front hamburgers?? the rear hamburger isn't seeming to want to come off.... any advice? also how do you get the rear Z off the rear strut?? blow dryer? and finally how do you stick the rear Z on? double sided tape? thanks guys!

heat it up the same way again. except get a paint scraper or something and put masking tape around it then pry underneath it like a spatula.

the 350z is a breeze to take off but the hamburgers were a *****. I used stronger floss and heated it up longer. you have to pull it towards you instead of down bc there are 2 pins on the rear one to line it up straight. The rear hamburger took about 15mins with a hair dryer and the front took about a min with a heat gun. good luck, just keep heating and pulling. you won't do any damage to the paint with heat and dental floss

Yep. It just takes some time to get the hamburgers off. At the end, you could use goop off to clean up the mess.

I've always found the 3M brand of 2-sided body moulding tape to be the best for strength...

crazy glue will definately leave a horrible crusted over mess if you ever want to take the emblem off. Use 3M double sided body molding tape. You should be able to find it at any autoparts store in their "paint/body" section.

The Z on the rear strut brace is melted on. You hve to pull the whole plastic cover off and on the underside of it you will see what I mean. posts on the emblem go through the cover and then they are melted flat to hold it on.

Nice job Terry! I was wondering how long before someone would come up with something made out of a "metal". The Z that comes off of the rear strut bar and the "cheap" black door sills (both Zs are the same size) are plastic and don't stand up to the elements too well. Hurry and get that sucker in production and post up some pictures! You will be making a red one, right?
