How do I get the interior panel off the back to get to the wing bolts?
I can't figure out how to get the interior panel off of the back so I can tighten the wing I have?? I have searched/called the nissan dealer and no one can give me a answer.
Oh ya the wing keeps getting loose with in a couple of hundred miles and I have had it tighten two times so far and would like to do it myself now, it's just I don't want to have to keep tightening it over and over so is there something I can do to keep it from loosening so much?

use locking nuts....come on now. as for that panel idk cause i dont touch them. just try prying around the sides gently and see if any clips pop out. if u dont have thread lock nuts then use two nuts on one bolt and then tighten the two bolts together wen the first one is tight, that will lock it down. vibration causes ur problem.

Use a panel puller or something flat (screw driver with a wide flat blade or maybe a putty knife) to ease under the plastic. You should be able to get a few fingers in there. Wrap whatever you use with tape or fabric to avoid scratching your paint. tug gently in a small area and the panel will pop out one fastener at a time. Towards the glass you want to be a little more careful. There are different fasteners used that tend to break off pretty easy.
Start at the latch.
Hey once its off take a picture to post, would help others greatly (sorry I didnt)
I just hit that magic number
If you break the nylon fasteners its no biggie, but if you break the ones towards the front, they actually bite into your interior panel, but you can epoxy those pieces of plastic if you need to. Just dont lose the plastic tab
