My Mailorder Bride Came in!
Props to Adam@Z1 for getting me these seats.. it took a little while (almost 3 months) because it was a custom order but the seats are beautiful..worth the wait..
I love seeing a pile-o-mods in my living room!!!

Bride XAXII red leather with cloth center

OK now to put them in..
step#1 uninstall old seats.. (4) 14mm bolts at each corner hold the stock seats down.. unbolt all 4 and disconnect the harnesses (seatbelt and side airbag for me).. be careful pulling the seat out.. don't scratch your car!! The Brides are slightly lighter that the stockers.. I'd say maybe 10lbs

step#2 unbolt the old seatbelt mechanism from stock seat.. You'll need a 14mm socket and philips screwdriver.. pull wire and whole mechanism out

step#3 bolt seatbelt mechanism onto the new rail as per the Bride instructions (they give you a new bolt).. You'll need a 17mm socket to do this

step#4 Bolt Bride rails onto Bride seat as per the instructions.

There are 4 points to bolt down using a 5mm allen wrench

step#5 not really a step but ... seat is done! repeat for other side..

step#6 If you have side airbags you have to do this... using Cheston's excent tutorial here, make yourself a wire that has 2 ohms of resistance.. you'll need a soldering iron and some wire taps... EDITED picture to show correct configuration

step#7 follow Cheston's instructions, tap the airbag harness with the wires you've created. Then simply bolt down the new Bride seats at the stock location using the stock 14mm bolts.. and plug in the seatbelt harness.. done!

Total project time was about 3 hours.. with screwups
I took a quick spin around the block and these Brides are much more supportive than the stock seats.. I'm 5' 10" 215lbs and they are comfortable for me.. The only thing I don't like it there is not much padding.. the seat doesn't contour you like the stock seats do, it's fairly hard.. and they don't have a handle that pops them forward but that's not an issue in the Z because we have no back seat
The seats also seem a tad higher than where i set my stock seats to... not really an issue for me.. but there is no height adjustment.. Oh and forget about adjusting the seatback while driving.. the **** is in a bad location that cannot be reached with the door closed..

Whoah...look who stepped up and installed em already
They actually do have a handle to bring the whole seat back forward. It won't release the seat on it's tracks, but it will pivot the whole seatback forward. It is located at the back of the seat, on the bottom. Flip that lever up and it will pivot forward.
He got em from yours truly...your friendly, neighborhood Bride dealer
I've actually been talking to them about doing a US Spec base which would essentially sit as low as stock. I suspect that they make the ever so slightly higher because of the avg height of most Japanese. As for the ****, seems a common thing with aftermarket seats - it's that way on my Recaro's in the 280 as well.
They looks sweet man...I cannot wait for a ride in that thing!
