this is my 2nd navi door for my 05...and its on the way out...(yes i did pull it shut a few times) only because sometimes when i shut the car off the door just stays open and doesnt shut like its suppose too(and i dont want ppl seeing i have the navi) so what i do is put the key back in turn it so i get power wait a sec then shut it and as soon as i do that i start pullin on the door and it usually comes down then....but today i really pulled on it and it made a few noises which couldnt be good....is there a way when they put a new motor and door in that they can actually fix this problem for good??

 

mine did the same thing. They replaced it under warrenty two months ago. Works fine now. I am expecting it to break again someday.

 

Mine didn't open or shut at 500 miles, dealer replaced the door/motor. So far so good, but I am only at 3250 miles though!

 

yup my new one they put in about 4 months ago and it worked great till now...and i was getting a little rough with it...im still under warranty too...looks like im going to be back there soon enough...i love when it operates nice and smooth...then wen it acts stupid it really pisses me off

 

Got it replaced 3 times already and its starting to go again. My method is just to hit it on top of the door and it opens, lol.

 

i need to get mine replaced...how long is the nissan warrenty?
