Yes I have the template, it was taken off of the RS Concept Z, put on the computer, blown up, then laid on the hood for cutting.

Did you have to repaint the hood after the cut?

The hood came out great, I have mine at the shop to get the same thing done. What did you cover the vents with?

I have a Seibon vented, and the vents made a big difference in BOV sound.

After the cuts the pieces between each vent are a little flimsy, so black mesh was used to give them more rigidity. Yes the hood was repainted after the vents were cut. When I wash it i just put a strip of painters tape on the underside of the vents to keep water out.

If you will notice in the photo, I added the Varis duct also...fresh air in thru the duct, hot air out thru the vents.

That is some nice work there. Looks awesome!

Do you find that your engine bay gets any dirtier? I know that some guys who have the Veilside ver. 3 with the front scoop complain about this issue. And it looks like its possible for air to be sucked (or forced) directly into the engine bay given that there is no rearward slant to the vents.

bverschage, what shop in Phoenix is doing this for you? (I am also in the Phoenix area.) I would like to have a look in person when you get it finished if you don't mind. Thanks.

Yes I just noticed that the engine bay does get more dust and dirt.
