You repainted after the cut right? So I would estimate around a $200 mod. Not bad considering the price of a new hood not including painting it.

Ive seen a template somewhere before. I dunno if it was this forum or not. But it does look good. I bet it makes an intake more intense in terms of sound

how safe is it when it rains? I'm sure it gets really dirty in there, but i could care less about how dirty it gets, my main concern is if the water would do any damage (to any electrical components around that area)?
