I didnt know they made them for the G35/350Z... My question is: Are you doing this just for show, or are you expecting some kind of "performance" gain?

Best answer ever.

I'll keep an eye out Theatrix, but I have never seen one yet.
We might just have to make one for you. I'll get some details on motors that could be used for this.

Can't believe I'm contributing to this ... but to each his own...

This one has a remote control:

Here's another but I think you have to run wiring for it... more expensive but looks a little better... plus many styles

Apparentley we need to get the bull**** out of the way first so this can get some serious consideration.
BTW, where were you today, Bro? We had a meet! Next meet is on 09/24, would like to get the Pioneer Avic1 (?) for the G and install it.

it's strange like that, if the motorized wing comes OEM its' cool (porsche's, SLR), but if someone wants one aftermarket...it's automatically rice.

If you want a motorized wing, please don't get a gigantic one. But i doubt you'll find an aftermarket one that would look good anyways. Good luck on your search!

Yeah all you guys that think that this is a dumb question should get out of this thread if you think it's so funny. Because if it was such a dumb idea then why would cars like Porsche turbo's, C4s's, and carrera gt's have it? Because I'm pretty sure any of those could beat our Z and Porsche isn't just doing it for show.

I've never seen a riced out car with an automatic wing..Some people want them to not be that big when they don't need it and then go up when they actually need the downforce or it actually helps.

I heard the strosek wing is adjustable so does anybody think that you could get that motorized? It looks very similar to the wing on the 996 Turbo's thats motorized, It would be a good one to look into also its not too big, its very smooth looking.

Agreed, it will require a specific pre-existing spoiler, I dont think you could do it to all of the different types. First we have to figure out what type of actuator to use given the amount of space under the hatch, I believe Theatrix has a convertable. I'll look into the acuators this Saturday at the shop and see whats available. Up and down would be more difficult then say... one that tilts.

Sorry I couldnt make it to the meet. Dont know what this weekend looks like yet, but I can plan on making the next one so we can go over the Avic series and pick one out that works best for you. As always sir the installation is on me, you bring the beer.
