Default carbon fiber request please...

saw on my local craigslist carbon fiber hood going for $250 made by racer design. this is the description given by the seller:

"Real Grade A Real Carbon Fiber hoods with skeleton backside for strong support and durability. Perfect OE fitment with well smooth rounded edges to the very end, not cut of like many others. Surface coating with perfect amount of clear coat for extra protection from any discolors or damage to the hood. UV-protective clear coat."

does anyone have pics of a carbon fiber hood on their brickyard. is there a disadvantage going carbon fiber in the engine bay area? thanks.

They all advertise perfect OEM fit otherwise who'd buy em. Choose your brand carefully. Remember in most cases, you buy cheap you get cheap.
