I would get another one. For around no more than 35 or so dollars it is not that expensive. And neither are the clips to hold in on. They put that on from the factory for a reason. To keep debris out from the belts and the filter. You never know when something will fly off these CLEAN roads of the good ol us of a and drill something. Better to break cheap plastic than something expensive.

If you don't have the money, I understand. But if you do, I don't get why you wouldn't want to fix your car.
BTW, underbody panels are extremely important for the wind to not get stuck in the engine and cause unnecessary pressure in the hood. Aerodynamics are important factors for high speed stability. As you may know, simple underbody chin and diffusers for the track model lower the drag coefficient from 0.30 to 0.29.
Fix it if can. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.

FYI - That engine cover with all the bolts, clip, and nuts is way more than $35. If you were to buy just the lower engine cover from your local NISSAN dealer, you would be paying $108.13 plus tax
I was curious but too lazy to look ----Some of those things fool ya, I held off buying a new W Brace for the rear underneith of mine cuz I was afraid of the price and it turned out being cheap and u can buy a new bumper for little more than twice the cost of the plastic cover
