I've never seen that piece before, just the one that says Fairlady and people put on the left side of the trunk.

I'd be interested in the previous two posters questions as well.

right, but it's on mynismo for $40.. so why would I want to pay $46+ship? (or $50 something like some people have..) hehe

you just cut the pins off and put the tape on.. it's not hard

Thats what you would do, 3M tape can hold it, just take a hairdryer and heat the tape up and then put the emblem on when the tape is hot and then hold on for 30 seconds and it will hold for a REALLY long time!!

You do not need to drill more holes for petes sake!!

On a side note. If you plan on putting the emblem on You'll need to flex the emblem a little. Our z is very curvy in the back and the emblem isn't shaped for us. Good luck!!

wow i'm surprised how little about the Z history that many owners here are aware of.

The badge is from the original Datsun S30 (240z, 260z, 280z JDM). This badge is NOT from the 300zx nor the 280zx or any of the ZX series. This badging can be found from any place that sells badges for pre 1978 Datsun Z cars (S30 chassis, once again).

the fairlady part is silver and the z part is white.
