Default PPW Advan C-West

Not yet fully installed... need to put on a couple more screws, but I have to wait till daylight as it's 2AM, I'm tired as heck, and Lowe's and open yet. But here's a sneak peak. I'll post better pics as soon as possible. Now I just need that Blitz wing to show up

I love the sides and rear on that kit. Carbon fiber would looked awesome on the white lol but that kit looks pimp!

not sure I feel the vent in front, but it's very clean overall for such a complexly-shaped kit.

Traded in your Evo for a Z? Wow, usually it's the other way around as Z guys jump the fence to the Evo.

I really think though, that it needs some sorta lip spoiler. Right now, it looks bald. Been contemplating canceling my order for the Blitz spoiler and just go for the OEM spoiler.

BTW guys, if you have a PPW and been thinking of getting a kit, go to somebody with experience with QX1 (PPW). Been hearing about it here, all over the forums, and I've gone through the pains of color matching. Side skirts are a tad bright, but with the adventures with the goddamn body shop I've been through, at this point, I'll take it. What's funny about the whole thing is that the front and rears match the bumpers perfectly, but the skirts when matched with the fenders and doors, seem a tad brighter. All I know is, according to pretty much everyone, it's a ***** to match.

I promise more pics, but I decided to urethane glue the front and rears, so it's all bandaged (taped) up, and glue is all over the front bumper. When it's cleaned up, I promise more pics. Any angle requests BTW? I know when I researched the C-West kit, I wish I had more angles on the front lip and rear skirts before making a descision. I hated the rears in pics, but it looks alot better in person.

Oh, and 1 more thing, the kit is authentic C-West, and fitment is not perfect out of the box (except for the side skirts, they went on like a glove), unlike the Nismo kit from what I've heard.

Yessir. 2am... still recovering from it.

More pics BTW. Not the best pics, still haven't had time to drive the car after the kit install. Been dying to take shots of the car with some proper backgrounds instead of in the garage.

Its not bad. Not the best kit I've seen out there, but by far not the worst. And its pretty rare, haven't seen many with that.

I like the whole combo, kit, rims, and drop. Props.

Looks good. I was curious what a white front lip looks like. Mine have been black.

Any plans on dropping it more?

No plans on dropping it more. No doubt it would look better with a more aggressive drop, but you sacrifice too much. Camber- tires have uneven wear, or you have to spend on camber arms; rolling fenders- chance of a boo boo; drivability- you have to be super careful or that front lip is going to scrape city. The parts I chose was more for functionality, with looks a byproduct.

Anyways, here's more pics...

I do realize that this pic may show that the color for the side skirts are off. But if you look at picture C, the rear of the side skirts angle outward when it continues down, instead of continuing to be angled inward like the rear panel above it. Also, the side skirts have a lot of surfaces that is parallel to the ground, so there is alot of reflection of light sources above on its surface. Picture D, shows a closer match, but obviously, it's not perfect. I gave the body shop the leftover cutout for the Varis duct, and the kit was matched to that color, so the front and rear lips match the bumper. Unforturnately, the rumors are true, as the metal panels are a touch darker than the bumpers... hard to discern, until you put on something like C-West side skirts. Lastly, no, leaving this car in the hands of an auto shop was never an option. Hard for me to trust anyone but myself for it's well being.
