cut a vent over your plenum,

then reverse that cowl. so when air is flowing over it, it will suck air out from over the plenum. then it'll work better than forcing air INTO the hood. cuz.. where would it really go? it might just hit the back of the firewall...

first tho- before you cut anything. tape it to your hood, then tape little pieces of yarn a couple inches apart before, ontop of, after, and on the windshield, and see how the air flows. then that way you can visualize how the air will be affected with that reverse cowl.

have fun!

If you had a TT installed, I'd say go for it ...otherwise, it looks like a Celica GT-S (A car that I also like and had considered, but 180 HP ain't cuttin' it)

Plus that car didn't need the hood scoop either...BUT if Toyota had made a Celica GT-S Turbo like they should have, the scoop would make a helluva lot more sense!

Not feeling it. As mentioned above, it looks like a Celica hood.

i agree after trading in my 2k gts that is what it looks like, and yeah 180hp is not cutting it, even with the kazuma exhaust and power fc, never dynoed but lol not worth it in the end. it not a supra just a celica

yah...well I am a pre celi owner and i loved the car, had excellent handling, not really build up for drag....
i had it supercharged and all and it was fun.. yah 180 is not a lot, but then again the car is a lot lighter i actually beat a few stock Z when i was S/C

the katzyma exhaust is one that gives you the least of power btw kramykram, best ws the TRD or veilside.... powerFC gives you 10+ hp tuned, but you need more mods to get them maximize first... anyways...i still like the idea of the hood, i think it looks nice and still better than the scoop on the wrxs
