Smile Tinting Ticket

Ok, so I want to tint my windows. I live in Columbus, Ohio and I plan on moving out of Ohio in one year. The law in Ohio says that the max tint allowed on your drivers windows and passengers window is 50%. I want to go darker, but I don't want a ticket.

Does anyone have say 35% tint on their windows in Ohio and have you been pulled over?

Please share all stories with me here. Thanks

I dont live in ohio, but here in ND we have the 50% law for the driver and Pass windows as well. I've been pulled over for it before, but just let go and told to get it fixed... Twice. Most cops have better things to do that write window tint tickets. However, 2 of my friends HAVE gotten tickets while out cruising friday nights. That seems to be the common day that cops will pull over anything for any reason to find a DUI and anything else... At least here in ND anyway? It's better to be safe than sorry i'd say, but i figure i'll keep my 35% until i REALLY have to fix it.
Also, If you do "Limo" all around and 50% fronts, it makes your front look WAY darker than just 50%. You might actualy like it?

Adding illegal tint to you car just gives police a reason to pull you over if they feel like it... I would say most of the time they will ignore you, but if you look just a tad bit suspicious they can use the tint as an excuse to pull you over.. So if you keep a little weed in the car or other things that are not quite legal you might want to keep everything legit so cops won't have an excuse to harass you..

i guess we're sorta lucky here in MO... you're allowed 35% on the sides, and for back and back side windows.. you could paint them black if you wanted... there was a change a few years ago, but it got overruled.. the change was 35% all around.. which no one liked..
