Vertical or Gullwing doors
I was looking at getting vertical doors until I found these Gullwing door kits. They are almost the same price but no one has the Gullwings yet as they were released in late august. What do you guys think?

Lots of companies call their product gullwing without it actually being so. Gullwing doors are hinged in the roof and open totally vertical. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gullwing for more information. The ones at the link you provided are more accurately called butterfly doors. I'd say go with whichever doors you think will look best on your car.

Yeah, those aren't gullwings. You'd need some pretty extensive bracing in the roof for real gullwings. As long as those butterflys open straight up like that, it's pretty cool. I've always hated how you have to open the doors like normal to a point, then rotate them up for the lambo doors; defeats the purpose, IMO.

PROBLEM! I believe it will have problems working since the window goes up a little bit when you open and close the door under the panel on the roof to make a water proof seal. Im afraid you might have tolerance issues. verticals are safe b/c they swing out like normal doors first then they swing up.

I see the the bracket deteriorating over the years, doors are heavy, the mounting points of the stock doors arent made for those kinds of loads.
Not to mention you cant park anywhere normal ever again unless you have 2 a spot open on each side.
I say vertical doors are best if you gonna do it though.

I think butterfly doors only look appropriate when the door style isn't "flat" like on our Z, or with just a bare window instead of upper bracing. I think it looks best on the door style of something like a saleen, but for the Z, i would stick to lambo "style" doors
