Default LED Taillight install -- pics

This install is about as easy as you can get. But I would still take my time with it.

It's pretty straight foward ... pop the blacks caps covering the bolts off using a 10mm wrench set to unscrew the three bolts.

When removing the old brake housings, pull from the skinny end first and slowly work your way down towards the wider end (trust me on this, you don't want to start from the wider end).

There's two plugs you have to disconnect (one for each bulb). Pinch the little arrows and ease the plugs out. You only have to use the the bigger plug for the new LEDs (smaller one is not needed, make sure you tuck it away so it won't obstruct the back of the housing)

The bigger plug goes into the only available outlet on the back of the new LED brake light housing.

Once again install the LED lights skinny end first and work you way down until you hear them pop into place. Screw the three bolts back on and pop on the caps and BAM you're done.

thanks ... btw the lighted LED pics are only of the parking lights. The brake lights are way too bright to get a decent pic of it.

I'll add that going through Performance Nissan was very convenient and hassle-free. I ordered the LEDs on the 12th through UPS regular ground and they arrived on the 20th (not bad considering I'm in Northern Virginia and they're in Duarte, CA ). They came in a huge box with padding galore and then in two invididual boxes with more bubble wrap. Needless to say they were in perfect condition.

Thanks ... they're actually $183 a piece (might be cheaper somewhere else) and the ground shipping was $20. Courtesy parts was selling it for a little less but their cheapest shipping was like 60 bucks ... eff that.

Headlights are 1200-1300 bucks ... not worth it IMO. Tails are a must though.

I have both 06 headlights and taillights. I wouldn't change anything, they are nice.
