Hood scoops and vents on your daily driver???
I'm thinking about getting a new hood for my Z. Looking at the VT style hood from Seibon. My question is, will the vents and scoops cause problems for me as far as water damage goes. I don't have another car to drive on rainy days so if this is going to be a problem then I need to know.
You wont have a problem what so ever. There are thousands of people right now, me being one, that drive with their CF vented hoods in the rain. Have you ever seen an Evo's hood? The come stock vented and give no trouble. You should sell me your stock hood when you buy your CF btw. I need one.
My daily driver is a company car, A Pontiac Grand Prix....My boss would be seriously pissed if I put hood scoops on that! LOL!!
I did joke with him about adding an Aftermarket Turbo Kit though..LOL!
The GP definitely has more potential to go fast...Wish I could figure out an inconspicious mod to make it go faster than 200 HP!!

For the OP, you will have no problems with a vented hood.
