A couple of question for people who got their nismo rear side diffuser molded:
1. Did they have to repaint the whole bumper or just the area around the mold?
2. If you don't mind telling, could you give me the price that you got it done for? Just want a ballpark figure so I don't get screwed from the local shop.
Thanks.

A good painter might be able to blend it, but I wouldn't mess with it for a bumper cover. They should be able to get the paint close enough. It will probably cost in the neighborhood of $400-$500

Just got back from a recommended bodyshop that does molding and here is their estimate (In Canadian dollars):
Mold Rear nismo rear difusser on rear bumper: 6 hours X $46 = $276
Refinish rear bumper(repaint the affected area): 3.5 hours X $48 = $168
Materials(urethane glue and the paint): $95
Total: $539cdn or $483usd
I still have to buy the nismo rear diffuser, so another $120cdn
*shrug* at least I have an estimate to think about for the winter.
