I'm at work right now and can't get outside to try, but can I bend it up safely just to see what it looks like before committing to screwing it in place? Or will bending it up crease it? I have the 1st generation Injen SES true dual with the angled mufflers and I think it might look better with the center folded up since the tips don't exactly sit in the center of the cut outs.

I have the same setup, and my mufflers are just burning the bumper. I might try this out, but need to go take a look at it first.

Is it really? Mine doesn't seem to be burning the bumper at all, it's just maybe with the center folded up it won't look so 'out of place' with the angled mufflers. I really like the Injen SES sound and performance.

I like the pipes too, for ONe I have no cats so that helps burn it up a lil more, plus when I shift at 7300 rpm it shoots a flame sometimes, and I think when I took the cats off i could have aligned the mufflers up a lil better.

Thanks!
It's an HKS Hi-Power canister. No spacers on the wheels. Just dropped on Tanabe GF210 springs.

Wow-that looks sick! I may do this with my APS TD, the way the mufflers come out it would fill in that center section-what you guys think?

Go for it Alberto. Would look sick with a dual exhaust like yours.

I slapped myself after I sold my single canister not even thinking of folding the center. DAMN!!!!!

First what did you use to make the bend.

Second are you telling me you bent it up and have no paint peeling off the bumper?

1. Existing bumper brackets, just raised them, and screwed them in.
2. Yes and no paint peeling, the bumper is really flexible, and so is the paint.
