Wow nice thread revival.

FYI if anyone is removing the 'female' white grommets that come with the car, do it carefully without damaging them and save them for later in case you ever decide to put your OEM skirts back on. Nissan wants ~$8 EACH for those little buggers. I personally improvised something much less expensive to avoid paying that.

 

Another thread revival. So...remove the female grommets. I was trying to get the black rivet that came w/ the kit to fit in the female grommet. Going to finish this job tonight!

I know this is an old thread but I just had the need to remove my sideskirts on my 2006 roadster. After many phone calls and a little research I found out that the 2 female "grommets" are identical in all dimensions even though Nissan has 2 part numbers, the ONLY difference is color black or white. black is Nissan p/n 76848-54C00 and the white is 76848-35F00
As far as prices the dealer wants $5-7.00/ea for the black and $2-3.00/ea for the white.

Amazon sells a package of 25 of the black grommets from Auveco #22059 for $16.00 (that's only 64 cents / ea)
Amazon also sells the male clip Nissan p/n 76882-6P000 in a package of 25 from Auveco #20886 for $16.00
