The front bumper was repainted and the shop thought it would look better if the grill was painted the same silverstone color. So they painted it with out asking. It looks ok but not great, kinda like braces. Do you guys think I should have it repainted again or just keep it?

You should have known better than to ask that question with out pics! I can emagine it doesn't look all that great, but i could be wrong. GET THOSE PICS!!

my 06 silverstone came with the painted matching grill. it actually looks nice

 

Sounds good to me. I have seen a red grill behind a stainless steel billet face. Looked sharp.

If anyone asks say that you had it done on purpose.

There's is a CS around here that has it painted...I don't like it. Just my

 

the shop didnt actually think it would look nicer they just got lazy and didnt feel like taping the area up... just my opinion

 

Along the same lines, I put a Street Scenes brushed aluminum grill on my car. After a few weeks I didn't really like all that "shinnyness" out front so I painted the grill black. It looks much better in black IMO.

 

ive seen it, im not a fan of it. either get a aftermarket grille to cover it up or make them remove the paint.
