Default Anyone tried these headlights?

Hi, I'd like to get a good conversion for my 05 headlights. Looking at mad clearcorners pricing, so I thought I might save some cash for a less complex thing. Saw this on ebay. Anyone tried them? Apparently they're plug+play...I'd still swap out the amber strip for a white one + LEDs...

This has been brought up several times on the forums. Why pay for these when you can have your current ones redone any color and have the orange reflectors cleared?????

wow those are cheap. I would be concerned with the fitment and compatibility of our HID system. If everything is good, it's probably a cheaper alternative to opening apart your housing and having it professionally painted.

If you still want to paint your own lights, it's definately something that you can do on your own...just don't be nervous when you have to pop the lights into your oven.

I guess some people think that if it doesn't come in a Nissan or Nismo box, it's automatically rice. Your def right though, it looks exactly like painted OEM lights.

Just so that I'm understood: I'd like keep my set of stock headlights just in case...now, I would like a "clear strip+LEDs+black bazel" conversion. Buying a set for $170 seems cheap enough given the prices I've seen for OEM headlights on ebay. The fact thay are black already means I would save on the painting part of the conversion. ebay is packed with similar offers for black Z headlights...just asking if anyone has actually bought them. thanks!

don't sound good. that explains the price I suppose. still, I wonder why HIDs would have problems...fitting issues or high temp?

Well, then, I guess we're stuck paying out the nose to have someone do it...unless if you're brave enough to do it yourself. I found a "tutorial" on the process.

http://www.*********.com/zwiki/Tutor...light_Housings

What is the diffifulty of switching out my 03 housings with the new 06-07 headlights? Anyone know?

The link doesn't work...I forgot that My350Z doesn't link to other 350Z sites.
