disconnecting 06 headlight LED's

disconnecting 06 headlight LED's
Does anyone know how to disconnect the 06 headlight amber LED's? i'm talking about the 4 on each side... i've tried removing the headlight and i see there is no harness behind them. there is, however, a screw in the back which i was too afraid to unscrew. any input would be appreciated, thanks
