Hey guys, need some opinions on these Vortex Generators.

I think the VG's on the mitsubishi are BS!
The job of a vortex generator is to energize the boundary layer of air at the lifting surface of a wing and energize it by way of creating vortices to reduce boundary seperation @ high angles of attack.
Unless there is some boundary layer seperation, which there is not, then the VG's are worthless. The Z has a negative angle of attack to increase downforce so we are looking for a solution to a problem that does not exist.
Even if there was a boundary layer seperation over the rear hatch.... the vg's would have to be positioned near the top of the windshield of the car. If they were beneficial in any way race cars would already have them.

It's different. Maybe some full car shots at different distances would help me determine how I feel about them. They're all pretty close. As of right now they're just ok to me. I don't strongly feel any particular way about them either way. They're just ok. And it isn't functional since its directing air to the big wing we don't have. Unless you are in on the nismo v2 wing gb. There's an idea! Post it up in there and see if you could make em a package deal! I want 25% of all profits for the suggestion though.
