I recently purchased a new 06 Silverstone Enthusiast. Part of the negotiation was the "Aero Kit". The car I purchased did not already have the Aero Kit installed. My dealer has already ordered it. To be honest, I am not a huge fan of the dealer installed spoiler. It is probably something I would replace within the next year or so.
So my options are:
1. Let them install it. Purchase the spoiler I like and replace it.
2. Tell them I want the spoiler, but not installed and Ebay it.
What would you do in my situation? I am leaning toward option 2 at this point. Are there any advantages to having it installed even though I might replace it in the near future? Do most aftermarket spoilers share the same screw layout? My gut tells me that most aftermarket spoilers will not share a common screw layout and I will end up having screw holes to fill if I swap it out.
Thanks,
Sean

if you know you arnt going to keep it i wouldnt drill holes. the spoiler can actually be installed with just 3m tape. you have to cut the 2 center clips off but alot of members apply the OEM lip spoiler with just alot of 3m tape and have no problems.
