Default My car almost fixed (pics)

We had some good weather the other day and I couldn't resist pulling it out and getting some pics. For those who don't know I bought it wrecked and did almost all the work myself. The only thing I didn't do was the clip, since I don't have a pulling post or a mig welder. I just didn't trust my old flux core welder for that. The guy that own the shop I used to work at did the clip for me. I'm sure you can see what I had to replace. Besides that I had to work the quarter panels and did a full body repaint. Anyway all I lack is a drivers taillight and putting in a few bolts to the bumper cover.

I bought it that way. I can't argue with a Z for less than $10k.

The clip cost $500 and as explained in my 1st post I did everything else. Let's just say it cost me less then $10k fixed with the 19" wheels.

How long did all that work take? You did a damn good job on the bodywork and paint.

It took around six months, but most of that time it was sitting still waiting in line to get the clip. As for the bumper cover I didnt have all the bolts in at the time I took the pics. I just wanted to get some pics because the weather was nice for a change.

Looks like you need to repaint that rear bumper. Doesn't match at all.

You need to redo the entire rear bumper. The fitment is way off and it looks horrible. Everything else looks great though

As said before. In the pics the bumper didn't have all the bolts in it, so of course the fitment will be off. As for the colormatch most bumper covers are off a bit. I still don't see how this one is off a bit. It must be the shadows or something, because the paint matches.

I haven't driven it yet, since I just got the title back the other day. I still have to sell my other car, which seems like it will this week.
