Default Version Select front bumper and new Seibon hood!!

Just got my car back from the body shop. if anyone is interested in how the version select bumpers fit, here are some pics. the bumper fits excellent. almost no modification was needed. this is by far the best quality replica you can get.. I did have some issues with the seibon hood, but finally got it to fit good now. I also had an aluminum skid plate made for the bottom of the bumper to protect the fiberglass from scrapes..

The execution is perfect!

Car looks real nice......That bumper makes the car look aggressive. What suspension are you on?

I have an 05 350z that didnt come with HID lights so i was interested in buying a HID conversion kit but im honestly not sure how it would fit in my headlight housing since the housing has that gray circle seal that stops water from leaking in. Can anyone help me?

Very nice!

Yeah...the Version Select kit has really good fitment for a replica. After thrashing my authentic Vertex front bumper, this was the only one readily available for me. I'm very happy with it though. BTW...I need to make a scrape plate as well since the OEM plastic piece underneath no longer reaches the front bumper on mine. I have since put some temporary brackets to hold them in place so they won't drag. Would you happen to have some good pics of yours?

getting even more off topic, but does the oem plastic liner underneath the car attach to the authentic Vertex bumper properly?

Yes it did. For some reason, the Version Select seems to be shorter on the very bottom piece where it normally attaches (probably 2-3 inches. Everything else as far as fitment was good though (i.e. around the headlights & fender). The only thing I had to do on mine though was build the edge up a tad bit where it meets the hood since one side seemed to give off more of a gap then the other.

Cool! Thanks!

I just want to get an idea on what I need to make. I don't think it should be that hard though from what I saw on mine. I think it'll be a good addition in helping me prevent scraping up my front lip too.

Thanks..
I had to move the latch over 1/2 of an inch. and i had to ream out the hood mounting arm holes a little. Now it fits perfect, no complaints. the weave is beautiful. i was going to paint it but now I'am not. the only thing that was a problem was that it hit the crawford plenum...

Wow, that looks great! Awesome fit, especially if it wasn't really messed with much.
