Default Door Ding, but caught the owner of the car that dinged me(PICS)

Luckily I was sitting in my car when a lady next to me threw her door open and put a nice ding in my door. At first she was apologetic, but after she saw she left a mark on the door, she turned into a complete ***. Barely wanting me to have her insurance information and actually coped an attitude cause I wanted all the info on her card. I am thanking the Lord I didn't lose my temper. I swear I will never park amongst other cars again.
Anyway here are the pics. Looks like the paint from her car can be buffed out and the ding pulled out. What do you guys think? Is this an instance where the door needs to be resprayed? ....and yes, I know I need springs

I think that the Dent Doctor can take that out.

did you get a police report, the insurance might not pay for your damages without one.

Didn't get a police report because it looks like less that $500, but in hind sight I should have called the cops, if nothing else just to **** her off. I will call my local precint now to see if I need to file one.

The paint left should "buff right out” If there is a ding something like the ding doctor should be able to hook you up. Send the receipt to her Ins, and your time for buffing it out!

Today I just happen to be walking through the parking lot at work and decided to count the number of cars with dings that park close to the entrance (about 40 cars)
Results:
~ 9 out of 10 had dings.
~ about half the cars were less than a few years old.
~ 1 in 10 were less than a year old.
~ most of the SUV's had different paint on the door edge (dingers)
~ those that parked real close to the entrance had more/larger dings and usually had differing paint on the edge of the drivers door (dingers)

Basically the people that park near the entrance could care less about their car let alone yours! They'll drive it until it doesn't go and leave it where it dies.

From the pic it looks as though the door will need to be sprayed, based on the shape of the dent.

Unbeleivable! It's her fault that her dumb@ss didn't watch out when she carelessly threw her door open, and then got upset that you wanted her to pay for it. *****!

I would have made her lick the paint out of the dent and then smacked her in the *** with a tire iron

You should have just killed her. You would have to pay for the damages yourself, but at least you could sleep better at night knowing she paid dearly for dinging the 350. LOL!!!

kidding.

I hate dings. I actually would rather you just write off my car so I can get another one. Here the insurance won't look at you twice if you brought up any damage less than 10 of the value of the car.

Basically I am just an ******* with my car. I park diagonal if it's a busy place. I will even park far out, just to get less crowded and tight spaces. I figure the walk is god for me anyway, and it's definatly worth not getting dings. AAAArrgh!!!

my friend just pointed a nice dent and couple of 3 to 4 inch gashes on my rear bumper last night. Must of happened when i was at a doctor's appointment earlier that day cause i just washed the car the day before and i know it wasnt there then. I always make it a point to park as far back in the parking lot as i can but the parking lot was packed so i just had to take one of the few open spots. You know, it would have been worth someone damaging my car if i could of just caught them doing it! What really pisses me off is i hit someone about a month ago. There wasnt anyone around so i could have just walked off but i left them a note and paid $650.00 to get it fixed. My mind set is I wouldnt want someone hitting my car and just taking off. Go figure. PEOPLE SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got back from the bodyshop. $619.00 to fix the dent correctly. They are going to have to blend the quarter panel to get a good match. Interesting to see what her insurance company says.
