If they make something else that is a replica, please, share. Other than that, your remark is flawed.

How about the
Seibon TT front lip - replica of KstyleKing front lip
Seibon TT side skirt -replica of KstyleKing side skirts
ALL Seibon Honda MG hood- Mugen replicas
Seibon 350z CW front lip- C-west replica
Seibon 05-06 CD hood- california dream replica
Seibon 350z NS spoiler- nismo V1 replica

I honestly had no idea, I do not deal with high volumes of carbon fiber parts. I retract my statement then about Seibon and I will remove them from my listings.

Honestly though, I do not want to have anything to do with replica companies.

90% of my business comes from experienced tuners who know exactly waht they want. I deal with proprietory brands and race proven technology.

Seibon also had a huge booth at SEMA.

The only parts I see on your site are Bride and Sparco.

I wouldn't doubt it, they are a huge company. That's why I had no idea they dealt with replica products.

I can say one thing for sure, at least they don't sell only replicas.

Yeah, that's only the website. People who know my business, know my business. I sell a lot more than seats

E-Commerce sites are a hassle to build when you use your own software and not paypal.

I can't stand by replicas because they go against what I believe in.

Being apart of the industry side as opposed to only the consumer side shines a new light on the subject that many have a hard time grasping.

I want this industry to continue to prosper and Japanese tuners to continue to allow USA distributors. I feel that knockoff companies and those who sell them hurt legit proprietors.

If you truely feel that knockoffs are ok, then that's fine, its your opinion and this great country allows you to have your own.

This is the exact reason why I launched the www.EXELIFE.com project, to educate consumers. Consumers then can make their own choice about where they stand.

I will always stand by the industry, and the companies that back my work are proof that I believe I am on the right track

Consumers want cheaper prices, proprietors want to protect their products. I can see both sides, and I understand both issues. But at the end of the day, the industry argument makes more sense to me because I am a car enthusiast as well as a business person.

No hard feelings though, we are all Z homies

...because unfortunately money talks hehe. One thing that pisses me off about SEMA is that they look down upon replicas etc, but they allow known replica companies to have booths because they love to sell show space at the event especially if the booth is big. Seibon is one of the thriving replica companies right now because there is such a huge demand for Carbon Fiber and they have it. I believe Sean's father owns the actual factory in CHINA so profits are huge for him

Actually I've seen many Seibon products that are of better quality than the originals (Veilside comes to mind). I have an authentic veilside hood that is far worse quality than any Seibon hood I've seen.

I hate Veilside.

So what company makes a Nismo V2 kit replica? Kitcars are replicas, but they look like fun to build. I like replicas, im not paying 2500-4000$ for overpriced fiberglass.

I agree. Honestly if you have a $2000 veilside kit that has nothing to justify its price especially when fitment sometimes is horrible, do you honestly think the average consumer is going to purchase that?. The only thing you pay for with an authentic kit is the brand name alot of the times. I'm by no means saying authentic kits are bad, just not practical alot of the times.

One more thing. A replica is a part made just like the real one, sometimes you will find that replicas are in fact of better quality than the real deals... Sorry to bust your bubbles, but, if you pay for something, and you paid very cheap, it will be cheap, no matter what it is, and expensive, is expensive, but name brand **** is just overpriced. Go buy a top secret lip kit, and find that you have to pay 2k plus, go buy a CWEST lip kit, INGS, any of those, will set you back 2k, and when you receive it, it will be the same **** as the replica, just original... pfffffff

to everyone their own.

What kit costs $2500-4000?

Obviously you have no idea what is involved to design and construct a kit from scratch.

If you think you are paying to buy "overpriced fiberglass" you are seriously mistaken.

Name brand jocking ricers have nothing to do with this. It's about the fundamentals.

So shouldnt buy a replica shelby cobra even though its like 100 times better than an original and costs less? You have lost your mind. They make thier money back on like the first 5-10 kits they sell. I have seen kits go for 4000$...... I will be buying the replica nismo v2 bumper and wing soon.

most people can't seemed to grasp the idea of R&D costs. You're not paying $2k for overpriced FG, you're paying $2 for all the hours that went into designing that kit, as well as other costs such as QA among other things.

imo, boasting about getting replica is akin to people boasting that they have fake LV wallets.
