well... my windshield just cracked by one of those big rig, and this is my 3rd time replacing the windshield (getting tried of spending too much on windshied), but I have find a cheap price on a windshield (installed), a guy qouted me 145 +tax on a FYG windshield and I was wondering if any of you guys had this windshield mounted? well he also named other brand like XYG or sitelite, just cant afford PPG anymore....

There are some aftermarket windshields available...

I know the ones we can do here are pretty reasonable compared to the OE glass....

you could always just lower your comprehensive deductable to $000.00 and have the insurance pay to fix it. Comp does not raise your rates if you make a claim.

i have a windshield made by pilkington. and its been crack-free for awhile (2 yrs?)

so i'd recommend it as an option to oem/ppg glass.
