Guys,

I am putting back my stock (OEM) and its been a while so I forgot what the steps are.

Does the metal ring go below the shift boot or does it go on top of it?

I placed the metal ring under shift boot and then screw the **** on. Today it was vibrating like crazy.

Are there any other pieces that I am missing?

Metal ring goes on top, because there is a seperate piece on the bottom of the shift boot. The ring and the bottom piece hold the shift boot in place.
