Hi all. A bit confused: I have a set of HIDs I would like to keep in their stock guise while purchasing a set of new/used headlights for a clearcorners type of conversion. Here we go: apart from the actual HID ballasts, bulbs etc, what is the difference between the HID and non HID headlight "shell"? It is the lens inside? I know it's dumb, but I had to ask! thanks in advance all

 

The lenses are the same. The projectors are different. The high beam reflectors are also different. The housing assembly is different.

Get the HID-spec lamps. No sense in wasting time with the halogen versions.
