Paint to look like paint, electro plating for a black chrome look?

I have seen at least two black Zs with black handles.

Does anyone know if Blue Batmobile makes vinyls for the door handles that will match the Zs colors?

take the handles off, and spray them with some Krylon spray paint, wet sand, spray a couple coats of clear, wet sand and reinstall them.

You will have spent probably 10 bucks when it's all said and done.

Black annodize. At your local aluminum plater. Usually its a lot charge, so take all the aluminum parts you want black.

Your best bet is to have them professionally painted, but if you cannot afford it at the moment I would suggest just painting them with some flat black paint or something since it will not show as much imperfections since it is flat black

I would like to paint mine as well-could some one give me a step by step procedure for getting them off and back on? I can see one bolt that is under a rubber plug-but it can't be that simple. Thanks. James

As deceptive as they look, the handles are actually a high strength polymer (read: plastic)...NOT aluminum or any other type of metal. The fire test will confirm this
