Yeah, those are sweet. I saw a car at a show I participated in a couple months back that had them; VERY nice seats.

I also saw them at the show Steve was at, seriously, pics. do them no justice. I heard about a grand each, which I'd gladly pay.

One of our fellow Aussies purchased some. They are quite expensive.

Had I known these were available here I would have bought them instead of the Brides.

Hmm...this site has it ~1637 for the set -brackets...a bit cheaper than the other one...description on the site says:

Surface: ECSAINE Leather, Color: Light Gray xDark Gray or Ecru w/ NISMO logo, Reclining Type, Doesn't include Brackets, Can't use w/ 4point seat belt(Super Sports Type) together

Anybody know what Ecru is? I assume it might cloth color or something?

The seats are very similar to Recaros, (nismos are made by recaro i believe). I dunno if these are even available any longer, i do know that perf nissan stopped carrying them a long time ago...

My Sparco Pro2000 is HUGE compared to these...

The SRDs only go for $599.00 but without leather option. Hmm...$400.00 dollar difference....is it worth going the extra $400 for the Nismo? I'm been looking for aftermarket seats and honestly I don't know why BRIDES are so popular just because they are JDM. Is the quality that much better?

I cannot say if they are exactly an SRD/Speed but they are close. Anything NISMO is pricey because of what it is.

Brides are expensive, and frankly, so is any quality seat. The cheaper seats out there can be decent but the materials just don't tend to last quite as long as some other brands. Recaro's reclining seats represent a good value, as their cloth is second to none (wears very well in my experience), and they have seats that many Americans can fit into. Bride's big claim to fame is that they are a more exclusive JDM brand, which has cache with lots of people trying to achieve a certain look to their car. Plus, Bride has one of the widest array of different seats made.

FWIW, the Pro2000 by comparison, is actually one of Sparco's biggest seats - much wider than many reclining seats, as its designed for larger drivers.

A Recaro Speed, the replacement for the SRD, to me, is one of the best values out there, as its very supportive, not overly priced (list price is around $700 per seat), reclines, and fits the typical American frame quite well.

I do love my Brides but having seen in person the nismo's I'll admit I'd rather have the nismo's, they are just beautiful.
