So i was driving down I-75 out of Cincinnati on my way home from my girls house and out of nowhere a huge rock hits my windshield. Hairline crack about 5 inches long on passenger side, directly in line with the passengers view. I have never had a windshield do this before and i was wondering if anyone else has...and if so how much would it cost to replace? thanks for your help.

 

it depends how big the crack is. 5 inches doesn't seem that bad but somtimes you its possible you have to replace the whole windshield. I had a 4 inch crack and a windshield repair shop filled it in and it's fine now. hope this helps
