Default Veilside V1 Side Under Wings Installation

I just received them yesterday and there were no instructions or hardware. Is that normal?

Don't have the sides, but I have the front and rear and they didn't come with anything either, so I'd say it's normal. It's not rocket science to put them on; they just use existing bolts underneath and a little double sided tape.

Thanks for that. I hadn't crawled my a$$ under there yet. I assumed that there was going to be some drilling and hardware required after I got them painted. Existing bolts and double sided tape should be a piece of cake.

You shoud'nt have to drill, mine were predrilled for the 2 bolts already under there. As far as the double sided tape, make sure it's very very good tape. Mine came loose after a month from getting wet and so fourth, but I fixed it with 3M automix #8115 panel bonding adhesive. They will never come off .....ever.

I didn't use any tape. Just the screws hold them on perfectly.

Yours were carbon correct? The urathane's are'nt strong like carbons. He'll need some tape/glue. Unless he buys yours and sends his back.

Used 3M tape and self taping screws for my urethane ones. The pre drilled holes didn't match up with the existing ones. Also if you don't use the tape they will rattle against your sides at high speed.
