Anyone have rear mud guards laying around the garage?
Anyone have rear mud guards laying around the garage they want to sell?
I apologize in advance, I realize this may not be the appropriate place to post. However, I've had no success in the 'private classified'. Being I spend most of my time 'here' I figured why not post 'here'.
I scratched the rear passenger side mud guard. I'm hoping that someone has a set of rear mud guards (Chrome Silver) laying around, after installing their new ground kit! Anyone willing to sell? If necessary, I'll buy both pass and drive side. Please 'PM' me if you can help.
Thanks. -m

I ordered the mud guards with the car, so they are factory. I didn't realize the mud guards were not removable. I'm going to look at the car after work and see if this is true. I don't see why I wouldn't be able to just replace it with another one. I'll update you on my findings. -m

Your sig has that you have a chrome silver but that pic looks like a white Z, which is it MacGuru?
I am still mixed on the mudguards, I have them, but I don't know if I'd like it better with or without. I feel like on PPW cars it looks best without them because they stand out a lot on those. I guess basically that would apply to most light colors.

It is easier if you have a screwdriver that is bent, or, you could do like I did and use a socket wrench with a phillips bit. Not a problem

At least you just scratched your splash guard. About a week after I got the car, I not only scraped my rear right splash guard, but later found out that it wa cracked as well, where one of the holes go. It's all better now, I ordered a replacement from Courtesy Nissan. Left the other one in the box, in case I do the same thing to the left one.
Oh yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about your scratch. I left my scratched one on for a couple of months, and not one person noticed, and I had more than one scratch.

You're right about no one noticing. Most people I see looking at the car, their eyes are roaming all over the car in, from front to back, with a thousand thoughts and questions running through their minds. None of them are about the scratch.
Here's a pic in color. Hope this looks more like a CS.
