Long story short....I took my car to autopainting USA here in davie, FL to get the veilside underskirts attachments put on almost 3 and a half weeks ago. The manager (Mauricio), assured me that my skirts would be done in 10 days. Day 15, I called him to ask what is going on? He said that they painted one side and that it will be done by Friday (today). I went there wedensday of this week to assure that they would be done by today and he said that they would be finished and installed today. I called about an hour ago to let him know that I will be brininging the car on my lunch to get the side skirts attached and his assistant picks up the phone. He said that Mauricio went on vacation and will not be back until tuesday.....okay, now i'm pissed. THEN he said that they haven't touched my side skirts and that he could start and they'd be done by NEXT WEEK FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooo pissed, I just don't understand why its necessary to lie to me? I've dealt with this guy before and he had a difficulty sticking to his word but this is some bullsh*t. So basically, I need a new bodyshop to call home because I refuse to go back there...does anyone have any suggestions? Someone in South Florida??

pick up the skirts and tell them youll pay them in a month.

It should not take that long to get sideskirts painted. A week tops!

nah, the only good part is that they didn't even start....the veilside is just an attachment to the stock sideskirt, they didn't even paint the veilside and attach it, my parts are just sitting there. so i'm having them put my stock skirts back on and i am taking my peices elsewhere...

 

I would ruin his reputation, if he has a good one! I'm pretty sure with business practices such as these, your not the only person he screwed! Good luck, peace.

 

Go to doral auto body and collision and talk to Walter. Your stuff should be done in a couple days and at least with what I got painted the paint match was perfect.

 

I've been to 3 shops to get my stuff painted. never took more than 3 days. Fk the F'n Fkrs. take it elsewhere or you'll be waiting another 3 weeks. Take it to a reputable bodyshop, explain your situation that you waited a month, then they'll take care of you in a hurry. There A lot of cool shops out there that'll hook you up.

damn, I just got my front bumper painted in a one day.that long for 4 little add ons. does it take a year for them to paint a car. how do they make any money.
