I just bought a replacement 03 headlight assembly. It's non-HID but I'm gonna fit it with a ballast, etc. I just noticed that although my stock headlight has an H7 for highbeams, this one has some kind of a different bulb. It has a thin, single wedge connector on the back, and obviously a different socket as well. Question: can I take the wiring out of my old headlight, with the correct H7 socket, and just swap the two? I seriously doubt that this bulb, if I left it in, will be a good match for my other aftermarket high-beam H7.

 

Can someone help with this?
