Default doors locking

Hi guys
I know I may be asking alot of questions lately but believe me.......coming from a 3000gt to a nissan I have to learn almost everything from scratch...jejejeje love my 350Z
ok here is the question
I got a 2003 touring, it comes with the anti-theft thing from the factory.
I thought that once your car start moving or starts the doors will lock....but nope...it doesn't lock at all unless I do it manually

so I'm wondering if this is normal
thanks in advance

Yeah, the doors not locking are normal in the Z. Nissan did revise the cup holders in the '06 Z's by the way
