Default Cupholder, not sure how it goes

Is the cupholder supposed to go in the front or back of the center console compartment?

Also is it supposed to have the side that flips in at the back or the front?

I can't seem to figure out which way to put it so the drinks will not fall over.

I bought the car used and there only the cup holder in the center compartment. Its just that and empty space...I'm assuming thats all there is supposed to be

It goes in the back.
The notches on the sides face toward the back.

I tossed mine too. Only use the one on the dash for bottle (with caps on at all times).

the z has the worst cupholders of all time. The one in the front is a pain in the *** to pull out and just sucks. And you need to be a contortionist to use the ones behind you.

Just don't drink in your Z. Nothing good will come of it.
