Removing Stock Embelms?
I personally use a heat gun - then again I've been a professional detailer for 15 years + and know how to remove adhesive.
Heat gun, at perfect temperates will take off both emblem AND adhesive backing @ once.

I decided to chime in & help...the side Z fender badges have 2 prongs going into the body. If you guys have a silver color Z & you want to remove the black background of the side Z fender badge, just take a clean soaked rag with isopropyl alcohol & wipe off the black, it's that easy or you can go slowly with Q-tips!
Here's more for ya....

You really dont need a hair dryer or dental floss.. goo gone should do fine if you soak the badge good with it and let the goo gone set in there for a bit.. wait like a min for it to go to work on the adhesive and you should be able to just peel the badge off, then just spray abit more goo gone liberally and wipe down the left over crud and wash/wax.
Just use lots of goo gone and give it time to go to work on the adhesive and you should be set.

I just got myself a 08 350z touring, ordered 20" rims and now want to get rid of the nissan badge on the front and rear, the car is silver (the carbon color), want black z or similar contrasting emblems that will be a direct fit, any idea which ones I should get, is courtesey parts the only one to order them from?
