Aftermarket Headlights Thread
in fact if there are any that ended up looking nice, they are the ones you bought. Id have blacked out the turn signal reflectors but otherwise they are just fine, and stil better than 90 % of the other cars OEM headlights out there..
Thanks for the compliments. No I have not had a carwash with them on yet, but I wash my car by hand so that shouldn't be a problem. I have been through some florida rain in them and no problems yet. Fitment is actually really nice, slightly bigger gap than stock but still a small gap. If you have hids like I did, custom wiring will have to be done. To find the lights just google black dual halo 350z headlights, it comes up.

Hi Guys!
I'm new to this forum! Been looking but never posted! So I have a question. I have a 2003 Touring 350z (I love it) that has nasty oem fogged up headlights. I want to replace them. A lot of people recommend the 06+ Headlights but they are $650+.
I saw and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them?

Already an existing thread for these particular lights, please search here for answers
i can honestly say i MIGHT! would grab these, if i were to get another 03-05 Z, as oppose to taking them apart and having them painted.

Hmmm....... Maybe I'm just an old fart, but I totally do not get this fascination with cheap-looking, cheaply-made aftermarket lights. Just stick with OEM and move on to your next mod/project. I don't see anything wrong with the factory '03-'05 headlights and they work just fine (even for someone with poor night-vision!
). If they yellow/cloud -- as long as it is external there are several manufacturers that make GOOD polishing kits (don't get the cheap crap, 3M makes a GOOD kit.). If that won't fix it then go to your friendly neighborhood Nissan dealership and order a set of real Nissan lights. You'll be MUCH better off in the long run!
Not slamming anyones tastes! I realize that part of the fun of having a sports car/hot rod is to customize it to make it "yours". I guess I've just changed my approach as I've aged. My Z will stay relatively stock-looking except a spoiler and some mild sides/lip. I've always prefered the "sleeper" approach --- nothing is more humiliating to a twenty-something year old guy in his blinged-out rice-rocket than to get totally blown away by some grey-haired dude in a semi-stock looking roadster (and it so much fun to check out the look on their faces at the next light!!!
). Just my $.02 worth, but if you are just itching to spend a grand, put it somewhere under the hood instead of on lights.
