Default Aftermarket Headlights Thread

Well my headlights officially look like **** now (04) They have scratches and a key scratch right acorss one of them. I was taking a browse on ebay and found these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-04...73186427QQrdZ1

Are these reworked OEM pieces? They really look like it. If anybody knows for sure and posts i'd appreciate it!

I was also thinking maybe somebody could repolish the lens to a perfect finish and retrofit a D2S Acura TSX projector onto the 04 headlight. Who would be able to take on such a task?

Sixto, not sure about those but maybe checkout Mr. Zipps. I believe they can "refurbish" your existing lights and install clear lens and strip. www.mrzipps.com

I'm searching the board over for OEM 06 lights because I heard there was a vendor who could get them for a better price, but if I don't find that person tonight I'm going to order mine from the dealer.

Make sure they aren't halogen projectors before you buy if you don't have a base model

Default Headlights on Ebay? Yay or Nay?

Hey guys, I need a new set of headlights. They sell for fairly cheap on Ebay. But I know they aren't OEM. Has anyone bought headlights on EBay before? I just don't wanna buy a set and have them fog up or crack soon after. Here's a link

Default Blacked out ebay HID headlights?

Im looking to replace my headlights due to many scratches and some hazing and i want to get some new ones painted but i saw some headlights on ebay, by some random company that says they are HID and they are blacked out. I know companies like this always have flaky products but has anyone bought headlights from one of these companies. To get a new set of HID lights and to get them painted is gonna cost me alot so i was looking to just kill a two birds with one stone.

I did a search and couldnt find anyone who has asked this yet.

Buy them and swap the lenses onto your OEM headlights, that way you retain the OEM projector and ballast mounting location

Don't do it. I've already done all the research on installing OEm HID Setups in to cheap aftermarkets. I actually del with gt_racers on this too. They will not work with HID's because the projectors are mounted too close to the bulbs and you will not be able to install them. Look for guides on Ebay about HID in Aftermarket headlights. It explains it very well. Your best bet is to find a set of used base or HID housings on Ebay.
