I need some pics of engine covers modified to fit the crawford cast plenum and strut bar. I'm hoping to get all my covers painted by my body shop, but I need to start getting the cover ready. Before I pull out the dremel I was hoping to see some pics. I know it can be done, just don't want to mess it up or find out it looks dumb anyway. Thanks in advance.

 

I was just thinking about this not 20 minutes ago...i am pretty sure i have seen one...they just cut it for the brace...let me look around for them and i'll be back.

I actually saw that pic through searching this weekend. I was hoping to find a pic of a painted one that was also cut for the strut bar. If there was a stencil for cutting it out that would be perfect, but I doubt I'll get that lucky.

That is pretty much a picture i was looking for...i haven't seen that one but there is another of an unpainted cover that was cut for the brace that doesn't go over the manifold. I was thinking about getting another stock cover and cutting it just to make the baby look a bit cleaner but decided i would spend my money on something else...if anyone wants to donate a cover i would post up pics after????anyone???
