Question Body kit question

I'm having to get a new rear bumper anyway, seeing as I was a victim the other day of other peoples carelessness. I was stopped in red light traffic, a car stopped behind me as well, then this lady comes flyin up and nails the crap outta the guy behind me slamming him up into my rear bumper.
Anyways now I'm shopping around for a new rear bumper and figure this is a perfect time to go aftermarket if a style catches my eyes. I've been browsing through the body kit stickied thread as well as researching through online parts sites.
Now I originally only wanted to replace the rear bumper, but with an after market one are there any types that are specifically designed that dont require side skirts to go with it in order to keep the bottom line of the car looking nice ( i assume u wanna try and keep an even running line to make it look smoother and nicer. Or do i just need to stick with a stock rear bumper and maybe attach a rear valance to it? Or with either option will i still need side skirts for a better look? And i do not mind going with a set of sides. But I definitely do not want to change the front bumper, i like how the over all look of the front of the 06 looks and dont really want it any lower by adding a front fascia.
I look fowrard to reading experienced opinions.
And links to sites that carry a wide variety of kits in stock and paint matched is welcomed as well. I have a handfull of sites that i've found but each only carry a couple of styles.

my advice, get a lip kit. get a mild lip on the front, nismo sides, and nismo rear add ons. back wont look right w/ out sides, etc. its like seeing a girl w/ a great *** but an ugly face, **** just doesnt work, not even in the dark.

sounds like you like the lines of the Z as is...if you add a rear bumper that's gonna change the flow of the car. I dont think you would like it, while some people might, I think based on your opinion of the car overall you would not be happy with a change to the rear bumper.

IF you get anything other than a stock bumper get a lip kit, not a whole new bumper...although I would suggest you just stay stock and pocket the extra money.

Buy a bumper off the classifieds and pick up a lip kit or even a Nismo bumper, sides, rear (there's a good deal on replica's now). You can probably do all of the above and get it painted for less than the insurance check you're getting.
