A shop here in VA just completed a targa top conversion on a friends Z. It turned out decent, I guess. It has absolutely no leaking issues and latches perfectly shut. However, with the top on, it looks butchered to me. You can really tell that it's a targa top and I guess I don't like that. Also, after riding in it for about a half hour on the interstate, I couldn't hear a person talking right next to me. These cars were DEFINATELY not engineered for a targa top in regards to its aerodynamics! In the end, it looks fantastic sitting there with the top off.... but that's about it!

Blue with Greddy Twins. I have never seen it on the road except that one time after it was done... it's never driven for more than one reason. Mainly, the turbo install was done prematurely and without a real tune = obvious problems. It's completely stock other than the bolt-on turbo kit and targa top.

I don't understand these people....My car isn't even heavily modified, and I take crap loads of pictures of it and share them on here. Wait until I get all the mods done...I'll be a pic-*****. This kinda stuff makes me doubt whether that car is really theirs...otherwise you'd think he'd have the motherload of pics of it...

Hey that looks great, good job!, I really love the look of the targa.
but IMHO if it costs $7,500 for a conversion.. heck even if it was $5,000..i'd rather just get an convertible z.
