My friend at work told me that his buddy that he knew had a porshe conversion kit put on his 350z. Has anyone heard of or have pics of this conversion?

as in a conversion to make it look like a porsche? i havent seen it yet and I hope I never do. that would be the most ricerest **** ever and every respectable Z owner would laugh at you

even that faux aston kit is just so fugly i want to spit all over it.

a Z is a Z and needs no excuses or dress up. The history alone makes it worthy of instant respect

I saw a picture of one that had similar lines to a 996, but no it did not look like a porsche. If you really want a porsche the Boxster S is getting pretty cheap now.

ok that is NOT what you call a "Porsche-conversion"

It's certainly obvious that inspiration for the design may have come from the 997 Porsche Carrera, but it is certainly not what you define as a "conversion"; i.e. R.E.Amemiya RX-7 Porsche headlight conversions, where it actually uses true Porsche OEM headlight components

Thats what my friend told me Jensei. That the front end used the headlights and bumper and the rear was just the bumper, and that the kit flared the rear fenders more so you could put a wide tire.

Wasn't calling it one.. and I don't recall anyone selling a conversion "kit" since most are custom. My point was to lead them to the forum that wss already discussing porsche look-a-likes.

This is a repost but according to this conversion, i'd say any car is possible if u put enough work in it...such as this one, not to mention porsches and 350z's already look alike...

There are only minor resemblances in certain features and that's it. But there is definitely no way that you would mistake for a Porsche.

WOw someone really went out of their way to make a aston martin "style" Reminds me of the mini cooper commercials where they were warning people of counterfits

I am the OP in that link given above and I was in no way calling it a Porsche conversion, nor was I in seek of one. I just came across a pic of that car and loved the front (minus the stickers on the hood etc) and I liked the front bumper as it had some 996 similarities. I want the front bumper for simply for its good looks and In no way aspire to make my Z a Porsche look-a-like. Just clearing things up abit before someone gets the wrong idea. lol

the picture of discussion

Now Id love to see a car with this bumper from different angles/colors etc ... can anyone help provide ???
