Default Help! I need a new front bumper :(

So the other night I had a small mishap into the rear of my friends GTO at 5 mph. Long story short an idiot in the turn lane, with his turn signal on decided he was going to go straight after all. He went through the intersection in the wrong lane and my friend slammed on his brakes. I didn’t even catch it in time and by the time I hit the brakes, ABS kicked in and I slid into him (there was allot of sand on the road from construction).

I have about a nickel size hole in the front bumper and after deciding there’s probably no way to fix it, I am in search of an OEM 2006 350z front bumper. The color I need is Silverstone. I figured someone might just have one laying around that put a body kit on their car or something. I need one soon because I was actually planning on trading my Z in today, but, it looks like that probably wont be happening now.

My other option is to get one and paint it? If anyone has any ideas it would be very helpful

You might want to try the wanted section in the marketplace.

Alright I will get some pics up of the damage.
its not too bad, but its just enough that it needs to be replaced.

Will the 03 fit? I know they made a few changes on the 06 front.

You may be able to have that fixed.. kinda hard to tell from this angle, but I'd try that first. If you decide to buy a replacement, why not just upgrade? If you're on a budget Drew has a nice deal on the Nismo V1 replicas right now.

The nismo style is an option, but I was planning on trading my car in within the next week so I really dont care what I put on it as long as the paint matches lol. I guess I could trade the car in as is, but would not get as much as I wanted for it.

How much is it for a N1 style and paint?

Stock front bumper covers are not that expensive.

Ya sadly it was just enough damage at such a low speed I doubt it could be fixed.

If only i had enough posts to place a thread in the wanted section lol. Oh well if anyone still keeps their eye out or has an oem one laying around their garage in Silverstone let me know!

you can always get your 06 bumper replaced for fairly cheap:

ya looks like just getting the stock one is the best bet.
Too bad all the body shops around here try to rip me off on the pricing to have it painted

what are they quoting you for an 06 bumper painted? are they matching your car, or are they going by factory color code?

Went yesterday and got an estimate. They said they can heat up my bumper and fix it. $460 to repair and repaint the bumper. I might just do that since I will be trading in the car soon. However I would really like to just find someone getting rid of their oem front bumper in silverstone. lol
